Carol Gooch celebrates 20 years

carol fbLeadership Montgomery County - Carol Gooch is celebrating 20 years since graduating from the Leadership Montgomery County signature program! Look at all of those year plates! Thank you, Carol, for all you do for our community and for continuing to support LMC every single year for the past 20 years!

Carol graduated from Leadership Montgomery County in 2003 and a few years later she was on the LMC board. After learning a lot about Montgomery County and what was needed, she founded the Montgomery County Association of Business Women in 2005 to help area women both professionally and personally. She is also the Co-Founder of Inspiring Wise Texas Women which hosts the WISE Conference each year. She was nominated as a Woman of Distinction in 2011, 2014 and 2018. She was voted as one of Montgomery County’s top 10 most influential women in business and was honored for Faces in the Crowd from the Houston Chronicle.

Carol won the Athena Leadership Award in 2021 for achieving the highest level of professional excellence, contributing her time and energy to improve the quality of life for others, and for actively assisting females in realizing their full potential. She has received numerous accolades from government officials for supporting Montgomery County through MCABW. Carol has worked in the mental health field in Montgomery County for 30 years and is licensed by the State of Texas as a Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist and Chemical Dependency Counselor.
