Conroe's Incredible Pizza
In 1990, Mario Valadez started his family entertainment career, at Celebration Station in Austin, Texas. He has worked in management operations with FEC’s for 31 years. Valadez's experience with business operations, management, grass roots marketing and community involvement has given him many opportunities and ultimately here in Conroe, as the owner of Conroe’s Incredible Pizza Company.
By being an active member in the community, he has brought Conroe’s IPC to partner with the local YMCA for their Leap of Faith Equine Therapy program. Mario has served two terms on the YMCA board and is on the Board of Directors at the Conroe//Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce. He participates in the chamber's Tastefest Committee and other events in the community.
Lone Star Family Health Center
Lone Star Family Health Center is a nonprofit 501(c)3, full-service, state-of-the-art family medicine provider operating facilities in Conroe, Spring, Willis, Grangerland and Huntsville. We provide compassionate, affordable healthcare and prepare tomorrow's family medicine professionals delivered by over 60 licensed and certified professionals.
Founded in 2002 and recognized as both a federally qualified health center and patient centered medical home, LSFHC is locally governed by a patient-majority volunteer board of directors. The health center’s board members collectively represent our diverse patient population.
One part of our mission is to make it easy for individuals and families to receive a full range of healthcare services. We see infants to seniors and everyone in between. Women’s, men’s, dental, pharmacy, laboratory and x-ray, sports, infant and child, behavioral health, nutritional care and geriatric are only some of the healthcare services you can find at the health center.
At our Conroe location, along with HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe, we also serve as a training site for 30 family medicine residents under the Conroe Family Medicine Residency (CFMR) program. Our resident physicians receive full spectrum “hands-on” training in a congenial and collegial environment and learn to deliver cost-effective treatment while integrating the most advanced concepts in the medical field. Since 1983, the locally run, ACGME accredited residency program has produced over 260 board certified Family Medicine physicians. The health center’s doors are open to everyone. Families and children, healthy and those with preexisting conditions, anyone uninsured, on Medicaid or with private insurance. We focus on providing access to basic health care services in the communities that need them most. LSFHC offers a sliding fee scale to low-income patients, based on household income and family size. Rene Rogers is the managing member of Wham & Rogers, PLLC. She has been an attorney for thirty-seven years and practices law with her husband, Mark Wham, and their son, Ryan Wham. Wham & Rogers specializes in personal injury and business litigation. The firm handles cases in Montgomery, Harris and across the State of Texas.
Along with the experience Rene brings to her law firm, she's also the Past President The Woodlands Bar Association and was a member of that board for six years. Sheri McBride is the owner of Generations Concierge-Texas. She loves helping seniors downsize and move to their next destination and experience in life. Generations Concierge-Texas specializes in senior move management, offering comprehensive services to facilitate the transition from a lifelong home to the next stage of life, including assisting with the sale of their home. Clients are moved, unpacked and ready to sleep in their own bed the same night!
Since starting Generations Concierge, Sheri has helped many families with their moves, making sure everything is tailored to fit their unique needs. Sheri’s specialty often revolves around guiding adult children through the sometimes-tricky process of moving their elderly parents. The approach starts with a thorough 30–60-minute conversation, often speaking with both the clients and their kids to be totally transparent about what is possible and what it's going to cost.
Once the seniors are ready to move, Sheri makes a video tour and creates detailed floor plans of the new space then helps them to downsize their belongings to fit into their new home. It's like a puzzle – she arranges their furniture in their new floor plan so they can better visualize their future home. The packing, moving, and unpacking are all on Sheri too. She hires and oversees the movers, and then meticulously unpacks and sets everything up in their new place. It's all about making the transition super smooth and making sure they're happy with how things are arranged.
After the move, families often need help managing the leftover stuff – that might mean organizing sales or finding specialized services. Sheri likes to mix personal involvement with her network of connections to make sure everything's handled.
Sheri is a licensed realtor in Texas with the Senior Real Estate Specialist Designation. She is a member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers and is active with Montgomery County Association of Business Women as the Associate Director and 2024 Woman of Distinction. Sheri served on the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors from 2020-2023, ending her service in 2023 as Chairman of the Board. Sheri also participates in numerous other events in the community.
